breakbeat mondays ep. 1

old school breakbeats, there's something about it that makes life a little easier for me. mondays -- not so fun because you have to get back to reality and get back on the grind, am i right? anyway, thought i'd spice boring ol' mundane monday up a bit here for all my friends that keep up with my blog and use me for my music anyways. haha jk.. just wanted to share all these old school breaks with everyone before they really die out.

the first breakbeat i'll post here has to be special since it's my first episode.

this song takes it all back for me. i remember hearing this when i first got into the "scene" and i wasn't even a dj until later of course. i believe i was 15? this song takes it back (way back) to when i used my very 1st fake I.D. to get into a club -- didn't have a care in the world when i jammed out to this and had nothing to look foward to but the next rave events either located at bronco bowl, decibel, spy club, inertia. when the dj dropped this on their set everyone definitely had their backs off the wall and got on that dance floor.
