image tutorial

happy friday guys.. or shall i say be careful since it's friday the 13th? haha anyway i've never really posted any tutorials on what i've learned when i mess around on adobe so i thought i'd share at tip with y'all for the first time ever. so if you have photoshop, open it up.. lets have some fun.

have a picture you want to re-touch? well i've been playing around on photoshop and illustrator and found a way new to get all the grainy stuff out and sharpen it or even bring out the vibrant in them. just follow these simple steps.

Step 1
Layer>New Adjustment Layer> Channel Mixer
Output Channel: Red
Red: +85

Step 2
Layer> New Fill Layer> Solid Color
#e0d0b1 Multiply 100%

Step 3
Layer> New Fill Layer> Solid Color
#ffcccc Soft Light 100%

Step 4
Layer> New Fill Layer> Solid Color
#bee1ff Color Burn 100%

Step 5
Layer> New Fill Layer> Solid Color
#1d0707 Exclusion 37%

Step 6
Layer> New Fill Layer> Solid Color
#aaaaaa Multiply 45%

Step 7
Duplicate the base and drag it to the top, then go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur
Radius at 2,0, set the layer to Screen at 45%

Step 8
Duplicate the base and drag it to the top, then go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur
Radius at 2,0, set the layer to Soft Light at 60%

all done! i hope this was helpful. sample's below.. check them out.
blue, mom & dad
(the filters i used work best on darker pictures) more to come!

oh btw, hope you guys like the new layout. i think it's easier on the eyes =)
